DCI & KSTC: $147 Million (!) Spent Since 2001

Interesting. As we poked around a bit more, we found that the Auditor's Office conducted a performance review in September 2007 of the Department for Commercialization and Innovation - which also included some information about the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation.

We'll take some time to review the audit to see what all it has to say. What immediately jumped out at us is $147 Million spent since 2001 on "New Economy" initiatives. Not sure exactly where this "new economy" is currently located in the Commonwealth. But with that kind of money spent - they must have some pretty nice digs.
